How To Grow Long, Strong Fingernails
Here's is another technique that works.
I originally posted this information on Youtube back in 2008 and since then hundreds of people have used it and many of them have seen results.
Note: if you use another brand please feel free to use that brand but I can not recommend anything other than what is posted below
Items you will need:
- Bottle of WHITE distilled vinegar ANY BRAND (not red, not apple cider vinegar)
- Bowl
- Sally Hanson Hard as Nails
- Fingernail File
- Cuticle Oil
- Lotion
- Towel
- Hand Soap
Pour enough vinegar in a bowl to cover your nail and nail bed. You can use two bowls and soak both hands at the same time or you can do one then the other. Soak for 5-10 minutes.
Wash your hands with water and hand soap (or any soap you have available). Dry your hands with a towel.
Using a cuticle stick (purchase at a beauty supply store) gently push back your cuticles and clean out any debris.
Apply the cuticle oil (available at any beauty supply store) to your cuticles only. Massage in gently.
Wash your hands again with soap and water.
Apply hand lotion.
Apply 2 coats of Sally Hanson Hard as Nails.
Note: I did this technique every day for one month. One I began to see growth I followed the technique every other day. I no longer use this technique because my nails can grow without it.
If you are allergic to any of the items listed please do not use the technique. If your nails crack easily that is a sign that they are dry. Hydration....drink water. You can still do the technique but only leave your nails in for 2-3 minutes. Follow the directions as instructed above.

Hi I have a question. I watched your you tube video and went to comment and found this blogspot.
ReplyDeleteWhen I apply the 2 coats of Hard as Nails.
The following day do you remove the Hard of Nails Polish?
It just seemed like it would really pile up if you do this daily.
Thank You, Allison
